En même temps qu’il confirme son expérience et signe un beau retour en Coupe du Monde de slalom sur l’étape turque d’Alaçati, Dunkerbeck confirme également sa présence sur le Ventilo Show cette année, comme il nous le dit dans son dernier email :

Voici en exclusivité l’affiche officielle de la compétition organisée par le HWO et intégrée au “Trophée Planchemag 2008″. Une longue distance qui intègre également le “Grand Prix Minimes” pour les 10-14 ans et qui, on l’espère, rassemblera à nouveau sur la ligne de départ 2 grands noms du windsurf en la présence d’Anders Bringdal et Björn Dunkerbeck.

Here’s in exclusiveness, the display of the official Windsurf race organized by HWO during the Ventilo and part of the “Trophée Planche Mag 2008″. A Long Distance which also integrates the “Grand Prix Minimes” for 10-14 y.old kids and should gather on the run 2 great names of windsurfing history with Anders Bringdal and Björn Dunkerbeck (TBC soon…)!
Oui, c’est vrai… Non seulement Victor Fernandez vient de remporter pour la 3° fois consécutive l’épique épreuve de vagues de Pozo aux Canaries, mais il prend aussi le temps de nous donner quelques news afin de confirmer sa présence durant quelques jours pendant le Ventilo Show… Si les prévisions de vent sont bonnes! Voici la copie de son dernier mail :
Yes, really, he is! Not only he just has won for the third time the Pozo PWA Wave event, but he also takes on his time to answer to our request regarding his presence on the Ventilo Show… If the forecast looks goood! here’s the copy of his last mail :

Right now I´m at Guincho.I came for 5 days to test some Fanatic boards with Klaas and Sebastian.Good conditions by the way.
I will join you for the Ventilo Show for a few days,we keep in touch and when you think the forecast is the best I will come to France,no problem.

Ceux qui n’ont pas compris le message en anglais de Victor seront punis et se verront faire 10 tours (à cloche-pied) du spot de la Madrague le jour de l’ouverture du Ventilo!
Rien n’est encore confirmé mais il se peut que Björn Dunkerbeck fasse une apparition sur le Ventilo Show cette année. Un échange de mails est en cours afin de savoir si le multiple Champion du Monde viendrait participer au “Grand Prix de l’Almanarre Voussert”, dans quel cas il s’alignerait à nouveau sur la ligne de départ aux côtés de son éternel rival des années 90, le géant suédois Anders Bringdal qui lui, a annoncé sa venue.

Nothing’s confirmed yet but it might be possible that Björn Dunkerbeck joins on the Ventilo Show this year. We are still exchanging emails at this time, just to know if the multiple World Champion would come & race on the “Grand Prix de l’Almanarre Voussert”. In this case, he’ll be on the start line again with his eternal 90’s rival, Swedish Champ Anders Bringdal, who confirmed his venue for the second time.

C’est plutôt une excellente nouvelle quant à la crédibilité et au devenir de l’événement puisque le Conseil Général du Var soutient le Ventilo Show cette année, dans le cadre d’appels à projet qui avaient été lancés l’an dernier. Pendant 3 ans, le Conseil Général apportera ainsi une aide financière à notre événement, ainsi qu’un support et un soutien non négligeble concernant la communication du Ventilo Show. Après la Région PACA, le Conseil Général apparaît comme un nouveau partenaire important afin d’aider à la pérennisation ce grand rassemblement sportif des “sports dans le vent”!
It is rather a great news as for the credibility and for the future of the event because the General Council of the Var supports our event the Ventilo Show this year, within the framework of calls to project which had been launched last year. During 3 years, the General Council will so bring a grant to our event, as well as a support concerning the communication of Ventilo Show. After the PACA Country District, the General Council appears as a new mattering partner to help in the perennisation of this big sports gathering of “fun wind watersports “!

La marque italienne représentée par Andrea Cucchi, champion “transalpin” et développeur de sa propre marque de voiles, vient d’annoncer sa participation au Ventilo Show 2008! Plutôt une excellente nouvelle pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas encore la voilerie aux designs si particuliers puisque toutes les voiles sont colorées avec un monofilm… noir! On aime ou on aime pas mais en tout cas le look des POINT 7 est plutôt hors du commun. Ceux qui connaissent déjà le produit pourront alors enfin venir tester toute la gamme 2009 sur laquelle travaille encore le “POINT 7 Squad” afin que tout soit parfait et dispo pour le Ventilo… Vi aspettiamo*!

The italian brand represented by Andrea Cucchi, Italian Champion and developper of its own brand, has just announced its participation on the 2008 Ventilo Show! An excellent news for those who do not still know the sail-loft with its so particular design because all the sails are colored with a black monofilm! You like it or not but at least the look of the POINT7 is rather outstanding. Those who already know the product can come then to test all the range 2009 on which is still working “POINT7 Squad ” so that everything is completed and available for the Ventilo… Vi aspettiamo *!
